The Parque Amador project aimed to create a new stretch of development for Panama City, expanding the urban network of the Historic Center to an adjacent area. The challenge was to create a new centrality over a landfill. To meet this challenge, the project started from a Central Park in levels, with a green area of public access, reducing the volume of embankment considerably.

The creation of parks also enhances the quality of life, as well as fostering a sense of belonging and promoting access to the sea. More than generating a qualified and plural urban space, the project recovers its immediate surroundings and connects this new neighborhood to the urban network of Casco Viejo, World Cultural Patrimony by Unesco.
